Click on clone stamp tool and hold mouse button down
to select pattern stamp tool
In options tool bar cgeck mode - normal, opacity 100%, flow 100% pattern selevtor - pick a pattern
tick alligned - impression unticked
When you draw with a brush it fills with a pattern or select a shape using selection tool and fill with pattern stamp tool. If aligned unticked then the pattern is unaligned and messy
